Armida

Meditative practices, ritual, and embodied community.

I’m Armida. I created this house for personal growth that’s rooted, restorative, and powerful.

I have a humanistic background expressed in many ways — through history, music, and therapeutic work. I’ve worked with the NHS, the British Red Cross, and across healthcare, community, and arts-for-health organisations. My training includes counselling, meditation, trauma-informed approaches, somatics, therapeutic breathwork, and skills in power dynamics and verbal self-defence.

My musical training has been central from the very beginning. I came to understand the voice not only as sound, but as a path for depth, healing, and transformation. That understanding shapes the chants I create, the rituals I hold, and the atmosphere of calm and depth that I bring to every offering. I often draw on my Mediterranean roots to give these practices a quality of grounded richness.

What I teach is not abstract theory. I have sweated with it, struggled with it, fought with it, and found freedom through it. Because I am a vocational teacher, I share only what I have truly lived. My work is about helping people ground themselves, connect with their own presence, and step more fully into their lives.

My Background & Training

My path is rooted in both academic and artistic study: a degree in History of Art, a professional diploma in Singing, and a postgraduate certificate in Pedagogic Competence.

Alongside these foundations, I hold a diploma in Counselling Skills, training in Verbal Aikido™ and Conflict Management, Pubic Health and Mental Health First Aid and Advocacy.

I have also trained in power dynamics and energy with Kasia Urbaniak and Ruben Flores, as well as in somatics, trauma-informed approaches, therapeutic breathwork, and meditation with Jorge Pineda, all of which deepen the way I create and hold space.
